Vertical Kampong (VK) is an initiative by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) aimed at bringing back the kampong spirit in the communities we live in.

The kampong spirit builds on trust and friendship where happiness originates from giving, helping and sharing. The traditional kampong was a hotbed of informal volunteering; where neighbours helped one another on a spontaneous basis out of friendship for the good of the entire village.

Vertical Kampong seeks to create a way of life where helping one another is spontaneous and part of daily life.
